Trade union accompanies female union members on their journey to becoming mothers

Thai Nguyen - More than 50 female union members and pregnant workers were examined, consulted and provided with pregnancy health care.

On the morning of June 27, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with Hospital A to organize the "Safe Motherhood Day" program, bringing medical examination, consultation and pregnancy health care activities to more than 50 female union members and pregnant workers in the province.

Attending the program were Ms. Thai Thi Thu Xuong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Ms. Mai Thi Thuy Nga - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Vice President of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council.

This is a practical activity within the Program for coordinating maternity care for female workers, civil servants, and laborers in the period 2025 - 2030, showing the concern of the Trade Union organization for the health, life and happiness of female union members and laborers.

At the program, female union members and workers were given prenatal check-ups, ultrasounds, pregnancy health consultations, and instructions on mother and baby care. At the same time, doctors directly answered concerns throughout the pregnancy process, helping pregnant mothers feel more secure on the journey to welcome their beloved children.

Through this activity, the Trade Union organization continues to affirm its role in accompanying union members and workers not only in labor and employment but also in health care, building family happiness and improving the quality of life.
