Free reproductive health check-ups for 35,000 female workers of PouYuen Company

The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has coordinated with PouYuen Vietnam Co., Ltd. to implement a reproductive health check-up program for 35,000 female union members and employees of the company on July 1.

The program is implemented from July 1 to September 2, in which every day 1,000 female union members and workers receive free reproductive health counseling and cervical cancer screening through the "Health AI" program.

Mr. Mai Ngoc Thuan - Deputy Head of Area Management Working Group No. 2 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - said that this is an activity to concretize Action Program No. 11/CTrHĐ-LĐLĐ of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation on implementing the direction of General Secretary and President To Lam in enhancing the role of Trade Union organizations in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the same time, it is a practical activity to implement the Resolution of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, in which an important target is that at least 30,000 trade union members are consulted and have free health check-ups from trade union financial sources annually, including at least 15,000 female union members.

Through these health care programs, the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union organization wishes to bring union members and workers many opportunities to access quality health services, contributing to improving physical, mental and quality of life.

This is not only an activity to care for health but also shows the responsibility, affection and companionship of the trade union organization towards union members and workers; contributing to helping women raise awareness, proactively prevent diseases, and take better care of themselves and their families," Mr. Thuan emphasized.
