Vung Tau Trade Union organizes activities to return to the source, express gratitude to people with meritorious services

On July 26, the Trade Union of Vung Tau Ward (HCMC) said that on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), the unit organized "returning to the source" activities; activities to visit and give gifts in gratitude to families of people with meritorious services to the revolution in the area to express the morality of "Drinking water, remembering the source", "Gratitude" of the nation.

In which, the Ward Trade Union organized a meeting; as well as visiting homes of wounded soldiers, relatives of martyrs, people with meritorious services in the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland. Through this, they cordially inquired about health and daily life; expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices and great contributions of previous generations in the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland; wishing families to continue to promote revolutionary traditions, being bright examples for the younger generation to follow.

On this occasion, the Vung Tau Ward Trade Union presented 38 gifts of gratitude to wounded and sick soldiers; policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution in the area. At the same time, union members and workers also participated in the "returning to the source" program at the revolutionary historical relic "Mother Tam Nhung House" (Vung Tau ward).

According to the Vung Tau Ward Trade Union, activities to express gratitude to wounded soldiers and families of people with meritorious services to the revolution are one of the practical actions, contributing to educating patriotism, gratitude to generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation; and at the same time spreading good human values in the community, building an increasingly civilized and compassionate locality.
