Ngu Hanh Son Ward Trade Union, Da Nang organizes gratitude activities on War Invalids and Martyrs' Day
Da Nang - Ngu Hanh Son Ward Trade Union organizes many gratitude activities to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day.
News from the Trade Union of Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang City on July 26 said that, towards the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, the Trade Union of Ngu Hanh Son Ward organized a series of meaningful gratitude activities to commemorate and express gratitude to heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, families with meritorious services to the revolution and educate patriotic traditions for officials, union members, and workers.
Accordingly, the delegation organized incense offering and flower offering at the Bac My An Martyrs' Stele. In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation of Ward Trade Union officials respectfully remembered the outstanding children of the homeland who bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland.
Next, the delegation organized a thematic activity at the K20 Traditional House. Here, officials and union members were introduced to the revolutionary traditions of the army and people of Da Nang during the years of resistance, thereby reviewing the heroic pages of the nation's history, contributing to fostering patriotism, national pride and raising awareness of responsibility in preserving and promoting historical values and revolutionary traditions.
On this occasion, the Ngu Hanh Son Ward Trade Union presented gifts to grassroots trade union officials belonging to policy families, wounded soldiers, martyrs, and families with meritorious services to the revolution; and visited, encouraged and presented gifts to the family of Martyr Pham Van Thanh, a trade union official of Quang Da province.
Although the gifts are not of great material value, they express the feelings, gratitude and responsibility of the Trade Union organization towards families who have made many contributions and sacrifices for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Through the series of activities, the Ngu Hanh Son Ward Trade Union continues to spread the tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source", "Gratitude", contributing to educating revolutionary ideals, arousing the spirit of responsibility and dedication in the team of officials, union members, and workers.
This is also a practical activity that shows the good morality of the nation, contributing to building the Trade Union organization to be increasingly attached to union members and the community.
