Trade union expresses gratitude and honors 122 outstanding workers
Hanoi National University Trade Union has just expressed gratitude and honored 122 outstanding workers on the occasion of Workers' Month 2026.
Responding to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026 with the theme "Solidarity, Creativity, Safety, Adaptability", the Hanoi National University Trade Union (Vietnam Education Trade Union) has just organized a series of activities to express gratitude and honor 122 typical workers.
Right from the beginning of Workers' Month, the Hanoi National University Trade Union has proactively introduced 5 outstanding scientists and 20 typical workers for the Vietnam Education Union to honor. This is a worthy recognition for those who are diligently researching, managing, and serving day and night - contributing to raising the level of Hanoi National University.
On May 25 and 26, 2026, in Hanoi, the Hanoi National University Trade Union and a delegation participated in a series of activities organized by the Vietnam Education Trade Union: Workshop "Rights and responsibilities of workers in the innovation mechanism at units today"; scientists attending the Workshop "Scientific research and technology transfer in the context of implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW".
On May 28, 2026, the Trade Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi organized the program "Thank you workers" to show gratitude to 122 typical workers from all units of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
Sharing at the program "Thank you to employees", Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi Nguyen Thi Thao emphasized: "In the new development journey of Vietnam National University, the workload is increasing, the requirements for innovation are increasing, besides lecture halls and laboratories, there are still silent people: Management, service, technology, security, hygiene, logistics, life care... The Trade Union never considers that sacrifice as "naturally necessary". The program "Thank you to employees" is a message: a university only truly grows stronger when all contributions are recognized, and all people are respected and loved.

Acknowledging that the Trade Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi organized a meaningful program, Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi Bui The Duy said that every job, whether it's just changing light bulbs, sweeping or cleaning... is important. Mr. Duy expects each worker to turn their work into a passion to have good results.
Dr. Nguyen Thu Hang (Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) - who once seemed unable to walk due to serious illness, emotionally shared: "There were times when I was pessimistic because I thought I would never be able to walk again. The school and the Trade Union were by my side when I needed them most. Without them, perhaps I would have given up. The Trade Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi always supports and encourages me...".
Along with the Trade Union level program of Hanoi National University, many grassroots trade unions such as the International School Trade Union, the University of Foreign Languages Trade Union, and the University of Economics Trade Union have organized "Trade Union Meals" to create a atmosphere of solidarity and sharing among workers, contributing to nurturing feelings and adding motivation for them to continue contributing.
