Can Tho City Party Committee leaders meet with delegation attending the Vietnam Trade Union Congress
Can Tho - City Party Committee leaders requested delegates to promote responsibility, actively contribute documents and learn from good experiences and models to apply in the city.
On May 29, the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee had a meeting with the delegation of the City Trade Union attending the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2026-2031.
At the meeting, Ms. Tran Ngoc My - Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation briefly reported on the preparation work of the delegation; information about the time, composition, and schedule to attend the Congress.
According to the plan, the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress will take place in 3 days, from June 3 to 5, at the National Convention Center.
The delegation of Can Tho City Trade Union attending the Congress included 15 delegates; Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, Chairman of Can Tho City Labor Federation as Head of the delegation.
Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, stated clearly that participating in the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress is an honor and pride, and also a great responsibility of each delegate to union members, workers and the city's trade union organization.
Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao requested that delegates actively participate in contributing to the documents submitted to the Congress; reflect the thoughts and legitimate aspirations of union members and workers of Can Tho City. At the same time, study and absorb the new guidelines and orientations of the Vietnam Trade Union organization to effectively apply them to local practice after the Congress.
Delegates need to take advantage of the opportunity to exchange and learn good experiences, new models, and creative ways of doing things from localities and units across the country in order to continue to improve the quality of city trade union activities in the coming time; contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization, truly a reliable bridge between the Party, the State and union members and workers," Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao emphasized.
