Thanh Hoa Trade Union signs coordination agreement with central industry trade union

On May 30, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) said that it had just coordinated with central industry trade unions and the General Corporation Trade Union directly under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to organize a signing ceremony for the work coordination program for the period 2026 - 2030.

Attending the ceremony were Ms. Do Thi Toan - Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province; Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of leaders of central industry trade unions and General Corporation Trade Unions under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

According to the signed content, the parties agreed to deploy 6 key task groups, aiming to improve the effectiveness of trade union activities, better care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; and at the same time build an increasingly strong trade union organization.

Specifically, units will strengthen coordination, promote propaganda and education of union members and workers about the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State; build industrial style, labor discipline, corporate culture and the bravery of the working class in the new situation.

The parties also focused on performing well the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; strengthening dialogue and collective bargaining; coordinating to resolve issues arising in labor relations, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.

In addition, the coordination program will widely deploy patriotic emulation movements among workers and laborers. The focus is on the movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" in the period 2026 - 2031; the movement "Exleasing potential, promoting innovative ideas associated with digital transformation among people and officials in Thanh Hoa province" in the period 2026 - 2030; the emulation movement "5 pioneers, 5 companions"; promoting initiatives, technical improvements, digital transformation and innovation in enterprises.

Through the coordination program, units will focus on caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers through social security activities, supporting union members in difficult circumstances; building institutions, trade union cultural spaces and improving the quality of union member welfare programs.

The parties also coordinated to build a strong trade union organization; promote the development of union members, establish grassroots trade unions; improve the quality of trade union officials; build a network of trade union legal advice, a network of core workers and model trade union models in enterprises.

In addition, the coordination program also aims to build a labor safety culture, improve the operational efficiency of the safety and hygiene network; strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of labor laws, social insurance, labor safety and hygiene and regimes and benefits for union members and workers.

The signing of the coordination program for the period 2026 - 2030 shows the unity in action between the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation and central industry trade unions and the General Corporation Trade Union directly under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Thereby, affirming the determination of the trade union organization to accompany in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
