BIDV Trade Union successfully organized the 7th Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030

Trade unions must create real value, accompanying the tasks of the banking industry

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Pham Tien Dung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Governor of the State Bank sent his congratulations to all 29,000 BIDV union members and more than 250 delegates attending. He highly appreciated the serious preparation spirit of BIDV Trade Union.

Mr. Dung recalled the period of 2022-2025, when many key events and projects of the industry marked the responsible participation of the banking staff. Those days are unforgettable memories of the spirit of dedication and perseverance of the workers, he said.

According to the Deputy Governor, BIDV Trade Union has had a clear change in thinking, especially in shifting from familiar slogans to the value set of "efficiency - harmony - happiness". The report at the Congress showed that the 3 emulation movements of the trade union all created outstanding results: motivating workers to complete business goals, promoting learning - creativity, spreading social values through thousands of cases of supporting customers, workers and the community.

He believes that this is an important platform to help BIDV improve service quality, increase customer satisfaction and engagement. Notably, he acknowledged the spirit of digital transformation of BIDV Trade Union, demonstrated through the signing of documents at 23:59 on the evening before the Congress and the operation of internal applications developed by the staff themselves.

In the coming time, he suggested that the BIDV Trade Union continue to support employees in performing the political tasks of the State Bank, promoting digital transformation, maintaining effective coordination regulations between trade unions at all levels, and taking more comprehensive care of workers' lives.

I hope that in the new term, the trade union will continue to inherit good values, solidarity, innovation and contribute to the completion of the Industry Development Strategy for the period 2025-2030, the Deputy Governor emphasized.

The 2023-2025 term marks many achievements, creating a foundation for the 2025-2030 period

On December 5, BIDV Trade Union deployed the Congress work: electing the Presidium, Secretariat, the Delegation for the Inspection of Delegation status, the Voting Committee; approving the program, working regulations, report on the examination of delegation status, results of the grassroots trade union congress; review report of the Executive Committee for the 2023-2028 term; report on comments contributed to the documents of the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union and the draft Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; submit the Personnel Project to the 7th Executive Committee.

On December 6, 2025, the Report on the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the Congress for the 2023-2028 term, the direction and tasks for the 2025-2030 term were approved; elected the Executive Committee of the BIDV Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 21 comrades; elected the Delegation to attend the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Bank Trade Union, consisting of 45 official delegates and 5 absent delegates.

The report at the Congress showed that in the 2023-2025 period, BIDV Trade Union has comprehensively completed 12/12 set targets, affirming the role of trade union organizations in the system. The Trade Union has promoted its role in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers; coordinated with the professional sector to ensure full policies and regimes; implemented the Project "Building BIDV a happy bank for workers"; organized many activities to improve the material and spiritual life, with a total internal social security budget of more than 134 billion VND.

In social work, BIDV Trade Union has spent more than 127 billion VND to implement community support programs such as building gratitude houses, eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, supporting schools and health stations, building bridges for people, planting trees, installing solar energy lamps, responding to natural disasters, etc.

In performing political tasks, the team of union members - employees of BIDV has contributed significantly to business results, with total assets reaching more than 3.2 million billion VND; outstanding credit increased by 13.7%; capital mobilization increased by 8%; pre-tax profit of more than VND 29,000 billion; outstanding green credit of more than VND 81,200 billion; customer network leading the market with more than 22 million individual customers and more than 500,000 corporate customers.

Entering the new term, BIDV Trade Union aims to build a strong - professional - creative trade union organization, promote its role as a representative and carer for the rights of workers, and create a humane and happy working environment.
