Preparing documents well will contribute to the success of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Congress

The 4th Conference of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HFF) was held on the afternoon of December 3 to prepare for the organization of the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and contributing to the draft documents of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, draft report on the review of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation Executive Committee for the 2023 - 2028 term (2023 - 2025 period), discussing and contributing to the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and discussing and contributing documents to the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031.

Most delegates agreed with the draft document of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, the draft report on the review of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation Executive Committee for the 2023 - 2028 term.

Some opinions at the conference suggested that the draft document of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, should assess additional factors affecting the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union organization when implementing the two-level local government model, the management of union members, and the payment of union finances because the payment of union finances affects the care of the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year for union members and workers.

The delegate also suggested that it is necessary to assess the potential of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union organization when managing the number of union members and large grassroots trade unions after merging Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces with Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Vo Khac Thai - Permanent Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - emphasized that preparing well for the documents of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and contributing draft documents to the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031 will contribute to the success of the congress and effectively carry out the tasks of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union organization in particular and the Vietnam Trade Union organization in general in the coming period.
