Former provincial leaders give comments on draft documents of the 1st Lao Cai Trade Union Congress
Lao Cai - The Provincial Federation of Labor has just organized a consultation with former provincial leaders to contribute to the draft documents of the 1st Trade Union Congress.
On November 11, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a conference to collect opinions from former provincial leaders, former Chairmen, and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Federation of Labor through the periods on the draft political document submitted to the 1st Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat - Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor - quickly informed about the organizational situation of the Provincial Federation of Labor after the merger, the progress of preparing for the congress and the process of drafting documents.
The consultation of former leaders is identified as an important preparation step, demonstrating the spirit of openness, inheriting valuable experiences and promoting collective intelligence.
At the conference, delegates highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, proactiveness and innovation of the Provincial Federation of Labor Standing Committee in preparing for the Congress.
Many opinions highly agreed with the layout and content of the draft Political Report, and at the same time contributed many enthusiastic opinions, focusing on the following contents: assessing the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers in the past term; directions, goals, and key tasks for the coming term; developing union members, building a strong trade union organization; innovating content and methods of operation in the context of digital transformation and international integration.
In his concluding remarks, Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat respectfully thanked the former leaders for their profound, comprehensive and practical comments.
These opinions are a valuable source of documents for the Standing Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor to absorb and complete the draft documents to submit to the congress, ensuring both inheriting tradition and demonstrating innovative thinking, in line with the requirements of the workers' movement and trade union organizations in the new period.
The conference took place in a serious and open atmosphere, contributing to careful preparation for the 1st Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
