11 commune and ward trade unions in Lao Cai province held their first congress
Lao Cai - Up to now, 11 commune and ward trade unions have successfully organized the First Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
After the merger, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation established 11 commune and ward unions. In order to direct commune and ward trade unions to successfully organize the congress to ensure the set schedule, the 4 congress subcommittees have urgently issued documents guiding the process, content, personnel work, propaganda and organization of the congress;
The local management working groups have promoted their advisory role to the Standing Committee, directly to the grassroots to guide, inspect, and remove obstacles right from the stage of preparing, approving documents and organizing congresses.
Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, said: One of the innovations and highlights in the direction of the 2025-2030 term congress of the Provincial Labor Federation Standing Committee is the leadership method and organization of the congress.
The congress direction work was prepared and implemented very early, clearly demonstrating the proactiveness and determination to innovate the methods of operation of the Trade Union organization in accordance with the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
Accordingly, the personnel work has been carefully prepared by the Provincial Federation of Labor for commune and ward trade unions in the direction of rejuvenation, improving the quality of cadres, increasing the proportion of female cadres and grassroots trade union cadres, ensuring inheritance and development; many units have boldly introduced young cadres with capacity and enthusiasm, trusted by union members, and expressed their determination to "new the team, increase the fighting strength of the trade union organization".
By October 30, 11/11 commune and ward trade unions had successfully organized the First Congress, term 2025-2030, reaching 100% of the set plan.
The Standing Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor issued a Decision appointing 127 members of the Executive Committee, 35 members of the Standing Committee, 11 Chairmen and 12 Vice Chairmen of the Commune and Ward Trade Unions; at the same time, the Decision appointed 132 delegates to the First Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
