Lao Cai Trade Union dialogues to help workers feel secure at work

The conference was attended by representatives of the Provincial Social Insurance, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Lao Cai province, leaders of enterprises and nearly 150 workers and laborers working at enterprises in the Southern Industrial Park.

At the program, delegates listened to an introduction to the basic contents, new points of the Trade Union Law, the role and functions of the Trade Union organization in the new period.

At the same time, grasp the development orientations in the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, focusing on improving the material and spiritual life of workers and building a modern and strong team of workers.

The direct dialogue on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies was exciting, attracting many discussions.

Questions related to sick leave, maternity, occupational accidents, retirement, unemployment insurance, etc. were specifically answered by provincial social insurance officers, helping workers better understand their rights and obligations when participating in insurance.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Dinh Thi Hong Lan - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Committee of Industrial Parks of Lao Cai province emphasized: Propaganda and dissemination of laws is a key task of the Trade Union organization, especially in the context of many new policies related to workers being implemented.

The Deputy Head of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Lao Cai province hopes that each union member will become an active propagandist in the enterprise, contributing to building a safe, stable and progressive working environment.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - a union member of Thiem An Company Limited shared: "Through the propaganda session, I understand more clearly the benefits of participating in social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance. The content is very practical, helping us workers feel more secure at work".

This activity demonstrates the initiative of the Industrial Parks Trade Union in promoting propaganda and dissemination of laws, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations, towards sustainable development of enterprises and Lao Cai province.
