Garment Enterprise workers join hands to support colleagues with critical illnesses

On June 24, Mr. Nguyen Hoa - Chairman of the Trade Union of Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise (Lam Dong province) - said that he had just visited, encouraged and presented the money donated by union members and workers of the enterprise to support union member N.M to treat a serious illness.

The total amount of money awarded is more than 65 million VND. Mr. M is a garment line worker, who has worked at the factory for more than 11 years.

Mr. M has difficult family circumstances and is currently living in a rented house. He unfortunately suffers from a serious illness, and increasing treatment costs make family life even more difficult.

From the launch of the grassroots trade union, a large number of union members and workers at the enterprise joined hands to contribute funds to support Mr. M in the treatment process.

According to a representative of the grassroots trade union, this is not only material support but also a source of spiritual encouragement to help Mr. M have more strength to overcome his illness. Each sharing shows affection, attachment and solidarity between workers.

Over the past time, the Trade Union of Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise has repeatedly launched support campaigns for workers suffering from critical illnesses or accidents. These campaigns have all received positive responses from union members and workers in the enterprise.
