Trade union introduces jobs for workers at risk of losing jobs after the fire in Dong Nai

On May 13, the Labor Federation (LDF) of Dong Nai city said that a fire occurred at Uniwin Vietnam Co., Ltd., located in Nhon Trach 6 Industrial Park, Phuoc An commune, causing about 1,350 workers at risk of affecting their jobs.

The working delegation of the Dong Nai City Labor Federation visited and worked with businesses and encouraged workers to promptly grasp the damage situation and find support solutions.

In order to share difficulties with businesses and workers, the Dong Nai City Labor Federation coordinates with the City Department of Home Affairs and relevant departments and branches to connect with businesses in neighboring industrial parks to support introducing new jobs for workers who have lost their jobs.

According to initial information, at about 11:08 am on May 10, the Fire and Rescue Police of Dong Nai City Police received a fire report and mobilized 31 fire trucks, 1 ladder truck; 3 vehicles carrying vehicles, 3 tanker trucks, 1 fire robot, 1 crane, 1 excavator, 4 command vehicles and 179 officers, soldiers and members of the specialized fire prevention and fighting team quickly approached the scene.

By 9 pm on May 10, the fire fighting force had controlled the fire, the fire area was about 9,000 m2, preventing the fire from spreading, protecting 2 raw material warehouses, ² finished product warehouses and adjacent works.

The fire did not cause any casualties, property is being statistically determined.
