Grassroots trade union in Dong Nai organizes sports festivals and gives gifts to workers
Dong Nai - The grassroots trade union in Dong Phu ward organized a sports festival and presented gifts to support 30 workers in difficult circumstances.
On May 9, the grassroots trade union (CĐCS) of New Apparel Far Eastern Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Dong Phu ward, Dong Nai city) organized sports festivals and care for workers.
Attending the program were representatives of the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, the Company's Board of Directors, along with officials, employees and hundreds of workers.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Chi - Chairwoman of the company's grassroots trade union said that this is one of the practical activities in response to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026. Through the program, creating a healthy space for fun and entertainment after stressful working hours.
The sports festival attracted 60 teams to participate in tug-of-war, competitions to show collective strength and high solidarity, flour blowing to find beans, slow cycling, and sack jumping.
The sports festival brought a lively playground, bringing joy and cohesion to workers.
Notably, at the program, the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union organized the presentation of 30 gratitude gifts to 30 union members in particularly difficult circumstances. Each gift included cash worth 500,000 VND and a box of noodles. Thereby, adding motivation to help workers feel secure in their work.
