Trade union sports festivals contribute to uniting workers in Buon Ma Thuot

On May 11, Buon Ma Thuot Ward Trade Union (Dak Lak province) said that the unit had just organized the opening ceremony of the 1st Trade Union Sports Festival in 2026, attracting more than 300 union members and workers to participate.

This is a practical activity in response to Workers' Month 2026, contributing to improving the spiritual life and health training for union members and workers; and at the same time strengthening the connection between grassroots trade unions in Buon Ma Thuot ward.

Participating in the sports festival, more than 300 athletes who are union members and workers compete in the following sports: Pickleball, badminton, table tennis and tug of war.

The Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said that it has issued a plan to organize activities to respond to Workers' Month 2026.

The new point this year is the implementation of the "Labor Skills - Sustainable Employment" Day.

Accordingly, trade union levels will coordinate with businesses, vocational education institutions and employment service centers to organize consulting and orientation programs to improve vocational skills, digital skills and adaptability to the labor market.

At the same time, introduce retraining courses, advanced training, and vocational conversion support for workers.

Direct connection activities between workers and recruiting businesses are also being promoted to provide information about job positions, working conditions, salaries, regimes and policies.
