Dak Lak Trade Union pays comprehensive attention to workers during Workers' Month
Dak Lak - Trade union levels in the province will focus on caring for and improving the quality of life of union members and workers during Workers' Month.
On the morning of May 5, at Hoa Hiep Industrial Park (Hoa Hiep ward), Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee organized a ceremony to celebrate the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day, and at the same time launched the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and the Workers' Month 2026.
This year's Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health has the theme "Innovating management and improving the efficiency of occupational safety and health work in the digital age"; Workers' Month with the theme "Vietnamese workers: Innovation, improving labor productivity".
At the ceremony, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation and the Department of Home Affairs reviewed the 140th Tradition of International Labor Day, and launched two programs in response.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My said that in the past time, occupational safety and health work in the area has been implemented synchronously, contributing to building a safe and stable working environment, promoting business development.
Workers' Month activities are maintained regularly, towards workers, focusing on caring for life, ensuring legitimate rights and interests.
However, occupational safety and health and the implementation of Workers' Month are still limited, requiring more drastic involvement from all levels, sectors, localities, businesses and workers.
Provincial leaders requested trade union levels to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in the direction of putting workers at the center; promote the emulation movement for good labor and creative labor; encourage initiatives and technical improvements to improve productivity, product quality and enterprise competitiveness.
At the program, the organizing committee awarded funds to support the construction of 22 "Trade Union Shelter" houses and presented 46 gifts to union members and workers in difficult housing circumstances or who have suffered labor accidents.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, leaders of the Dak Lak Provincial Occupational Safety and Health Council visited and presented gifts to Concept Eyewear Manufacture Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Hoa Hiep Industrial Park) and visited the production line.
