Da Nang City Social Insurance pays promptly to maintain the pillar of social security
Da Nang City Social Insurance ensures full and timely payment of pensions and allowances, and strongly promotes digital transformation in payment methods.
More than 103,000 beneficiaries are guaranteed benefits
In the context of the labor market still facing many fluctuations, ensuring stable income for retirees and social security policy beneficiaries has become one of the key tasks.
In the first 4 months of 2026, Da Nang City Social Insurance continued to synchronously implement solutions, focusing on resolving regimes and paying pensions and social insurance allowances fully, promptly and safely.
To date, Da Nang city has 103,123 people receiving monthly pensions and social insurance allowances, with a total payment amount of up to 2,913 billion VND.
Behind those figures is a significant pressure in implementation organization, from receiving dossiers, reviewing regimes to organizing payments. However, what is noteworthy is that payment work is still maintained stably and on schedule from the early days of the month.
For recipients through accounts, money is transferred on the second working day; for cash, payment starts from around the 5th of every month at post offices.
This regularity is of great significance to the lives of beneficiaries, especially the elderly or workers who have experienced job fluctuations. When monthly income is guaranteed on time, people can be more proactive in spending, reduce financial pressure and stabilize their lives.
Mr. Tran Van Minh, 67 years old, residing in Lien Chieu ward, Da Nang, representing pensioners - shared: "Previously, I received cash, every month I had to go to the post office to queue. Now switching to receiving via account, the money comes in very early, without having to travel much. The most important thing is that I feel reassured, because every month it's on schedule, without being late.
Improving service quality
Not only stopping at ensuring correct and sufficient payments, Da Nang City Social Insurance is also gradually improving service quality by promoting non-cash payments. This is not only an inevitable trend in modern management, but also a fundamental solution to increase transparency and convenience for people.
To date, the whole city has 80,531 people receiving pensions and social insurance allowances receiving money through personal accounts, reaching a rate of 78.1%. This is a remarkable figure, showing a positive change in people's awareness and habits.
Payment through the banking system brings many clear benefits: beneficiaries receive money earlier, without having to wait; reduce travel costs; limit cash-related risks; and at the same time help management agencies better control cash flow, avoiding errors.
To achieve this result, the City Social Insurance has closely coordinated with banks and the postal system, both ensuring payment safety and gradually changing people's habits through propaganda and guidance.
However, reality also shows that there is still a part of the beneficiaries - mainly the elderly, who are not familiar with using bank accounts. Therefore, the problem posed is not only to expand the proportion of cashless payments, but also to ensure that no one is "left behind" in the conversion process.
This requires persistence in mobilization work, as well as flexible solutions, such as supporting account opening, user instructions, and even cooperation with grassroots organizations to "hold hands and guide" people.
In parallel with that, the application of information technology and administrative procedure reform continue to be promoted, in order to shorten the time to resolve regimes, reduce inconvenience and improve the experience of policy participants and beneficiaries.
From ensuring timely payment to promoting digital transformation in payment methods, it can be seen that Da Nang City Social Insurance is gradually strengthening people's trust in the social security system.
In a rapidly moving society where many factors can change, the stability and reliability of social security policies, such as pensions and social insurance allowances, is the most important "backing point".
And when that fulcrum is maintained by specific and timely actions, people's trust is also nurtured sustainably.
