Gia Lai Trade Union provides support to union members with critical illnesses
Gia Lai - Two union members suffer from serious illnesses that make life even more difficult, the Trade Union promptly visits and encourages them.
On June 14, the Trade Union organization visited, encouraged and directly presented gifts to 2 union members suffering from critical illnesses at Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital.
The working delegation of the Provincial Labor Federation directly went to the workplace of union members at Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital (a unit under the management of An Phu Ward Trade Union).
Here, the delegation presented 2 gifts of support, each worth 2 million VND from the funds of the Provincial Labor Federation for union members suffering from dangerous diseases.
Union member N.P. T (born in 1999) is currently a pediatrician at Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital.
Not only is she a dedicated young doctor, Ms. T is also an exemplary older sister, a bright example for her younger siblings to follow and the pride of the family.
Currently, she is facing serious diseases including meningococcal tuberculosis, cervical lymphoma tuberculosis and severe meningitis.
Due to the complicated progression of the disease, the young female doctor is being actively treated at Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City). Receiving the attention of the Trade Union organization, her biological mother, on behalf of her daughter, received a meaningful gift from the working delegation.

Union member V.T. L. Q (born in 1991) is currently a health insurance consultant at Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital. 3 months ago, during a specialized periodic health check-up organized by the unit, Ms. Q unfortunately was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus with kidney damage.
The sudden illness has greatly affected the economy and psychology of the family. She said that her husband also works at Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital, and the couple is raising a 4-year-old child.
At the gift-giving ceremony, Ms. Truong Thi My Le - Chairwoman of Thong Nhat Ward Trade Union - and representatives of An Phu Ward Trade Union cordially inquired, shared and expressed deep sympathy for the difficulties that union members are experiencing.
The Trade Union representative encouraged doctor T's family and Ms. Q and her husband to maintain their spirit and persevere in treatment to soon stabilize their health and return to life and work.
On behalf of the collective of workers, Mr. Truong Quy Nhan - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital - sent sincere thanks to the upper-level Trade Union organization, and at the same time wished to continue to receive attention and support for union members in difficult circumstances.
An Phu Ward Trade Union affirmed that it will continue to promote its role as a solid bridge between union members, workers, grassroots trade unions with the Provincial Labor Federation and higher-level trade unions; ensuring that activities to care for and support union members in difficult circumstances are deployed promptly, to the right subjects and effectively.
