People receive back 70 million VND mistakenly transferred
Quang Tri - During the verification process, Hoan Lao commune police clarified the origin of 70 million VND mistakenly transferred, and promptly returned it to the people.
On June 15, Hoan Lao Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that they had just supported people in verifying and handling a case related to 70 million VND mistakenly transferred to a bank account.
Previously, Hoan Lao Commune Police received a report from Ms. Tran Thi Thuy (residing in Residential Group 1, Hoan Lao commune) about her bank account suddenly receiving 70 million VND from a strange account, with unknown transferors.
Immediately after receiving the information, Hoan Lao Commune Police proceeded to verify and clarify the origin of the money. Through review and contacting relevant parties, functional forces determined that the owner of the money was Ms. Huynh Hai Truc (residing in Dong Hoi ward), due to negligence in the transaction, she transferred it by mistake.
After being instructed by the Hoan Lao Commune Police, Ms. Truc went to the police headquarters to complete the procedures and receive back the full amount of money mistakenly transferred. The handover was carried out quickly, in accordance with regulations, ensuring the rights of related parties.
Ms. Huynh Hai Truc sent a thank-you letter to Hoan Lao Commune Police and Ms. Tran Thi Thuy for supporting and helping to repay the amount of 70 million VND.
