Quang Tri police use specialized vehicles to guide and take labor-stricken pregnant woman to the emergency room
Quang Tri - The patrol team of the Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Provincial Police used specialized vehicles to send priority signals and guide passenger cars carrying pregnant women in labor to the hospital.
On the afternoon of June 13, information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Quang Tri Provincial Police, the unit's forces promptly supported and brought a pregnant woman with signs of labor on her way home by passenger car to the hospital for timely emergency treatment.
Previously, at about 1:20 pm on the same day, the patrol and control team of Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Provincial Police) was on duty patrolling and controlling to ensure traffic order and safety on National Highway 1 (section passing through Gio Linh commune) when they received an urgent request for support from people.
Accordingly, Mr. Hoang Phi Hung (born 1993, residing in Residential Group 4, Huong Tra Ward, Hue City) and his wife, Ms. P.T. N (born 1990, pregnant) took a passenger car from Ha Tinh province to return to Hue City.
However, when the car just reached Gio Linh commune, Ms. N suddenly had severe abdominal pain and showed signs of labor. Faced with the situation, the driver and her husband called for help from the traffic police force on duty on the road.
Immediately after receiving the information, traffic police officers used specialized patrol vehicles, turned on horns and priority lights to guide and open the way for the passenger car to move quickly and safely through crowded roads to shorten travel time towards Hue Central Hospital, facility 2.
Thanks to the timely opening of the road by functional forces, at about 2:30 pm on the same day, the passenger car safely arrived at the hospital station. Ms. N was immediately received by doctors and nurses and taken to the emergency room for care and monitoring of her health.
