Giving gifts to 20 workers in difficult circumstances in An Phu and Di An wards

On June 12, Mr. Pham Trong Nhan - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation as Head of the working delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to union members and workers at some businesses in An Phu and Di An wards.

Attending the program were Ms. Mai Thanh Thao - Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Head of Working Group No. 4 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of wards, ward Trade Unions and leaders of businesses.

In An Phu ward, the delegation visited Thong Dung Shoe Co., Ltd. This is a business specializing in export shoe production with more than 4,000 workers. Recently, the company has had many orders, creating jobs and stable income for workers. The company's grassroots trade union has many activities to care for union members, especially supporting workers in difficult circumstances.

Here, the working delegation presented 10 gifts (each gift including 1,000,000 VND in cash and in-kind gifts worth 500,000 VND) to 10 workers who are disabled.

On the same day, the working delegation visited and worked at Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Di An ward. Here, the delegation presented 10 gifts to 10 workers in difficult circumstances.

Ms. Mai Thanh Thao - Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Head of Working Group No. 4 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that the gifts from the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress handed over to union members and workers not only have material value but also show the concern and care of the Trade Union organization for workers, especially those in difficult circumstances.

The activity contributes to spreading the spirit of sharing, consolidating the trust of union members and workers in the Trade Union organization. At the same time, it creates motivation for workers to feel secure in their work and be attached to the business for a long time.

Attaching signs to the project to celebrate the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress

At Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd., leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and Mr. Nogi Hiroshi - General Director of the company attached a sign to the project to celebrate the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress. The project is a mid-shift rest area for union members and workers.

The Company's grassroots trade union said that from the recommendations of employees and the trade union, the Company's Board of Directors listened and invested over 2 billion VND to build a mid-shift rest area for employees. The project has a roof to shield from rain and sun. Below is a wooden table system, with seating cushions. When workers take mid-shift breaks, they can go to this area to drink water and rest.

Mr. Pham Trong Nhan - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, highly appreciated the activities to care for union members of the grassroots trade union.
