Hanoi - On the occasion of the Action Month for Children in 2026, the Hanoi City Labor Federation presented 50 gifts to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

Accordingly, the Hanoi Labor Federation presented gifts to 50 children who are union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers of the Capital who are in difficult circumstances, strive to rise up and achieve high achievements in their studies.

To make the Action Month for Children 2026 practically effective, leaders of the Hanoi Labor Federation proposed that trade union levels in the Capital focus on effectively implementing three key tasks.

In which, continue to promote policy advocacy to prioritize resources for health care, ensure the rights of children who are children of union members and workers; mobilize social resources to support and give gifts to children in difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases, orphaned children due to natural disasters, epidemics or labor accidents.

Strengthen communication activities to build a safe and non-violent school environment; pay attention to mental health care for students; raise awareness and skills for parents in accompanying their children in the digital environment, helping children develop comprehensively and steadily in the technology era.

Trade union levels need to actively mobilize businesses, organizations, and individuals to participate in supporting children; invest in building welfare projects for children such as schools, classrooms, libraries, boarding houses, playgrounds and cultural institutions to serve the learning and playing needs of children of workers.

It is known that in the past time, the Hanoi Labor Federation has implemented many practical and effective activities, actively participating in policy development to support children of union members and workers.

Notably, it supported 138 preschool education institutions, more than 1,200 teachers and over 17,000 children with a total budget of tens of billions of VND.

In addition, Trade Union levels regularly organize commendation and rewards for thousands of students who are children of civil servants and laborers who achieve excellent results in their studies; supporting children in difficult circumstances to rise up and study well.
