Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presents Tet gifts in Ha Tinh

The Tet gift-giving program for union members, workers, orphans and people with disabilities was held at the hall of Loc Ha Commune Center.

At the program, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, along with leaders of the Ha Tinh Provincial Confederation of Labor and leaders of Loc Ha Commune People's Committee, presented 204 gifts. Among them, 104 gifts were for union members and workers; 50 gifts for orphans and disabled children; 50 gifts for people in difficult circumstances in Loc Ha commune.

In which, "In which, the gift level for union members, workers and orphans, people with disabilities is 1.3 million VND; gifts for people in difficult circumstances are 1.1 million VND. The total cost of implementing the program is more than 255 million VND supported by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. In which, the support source from the Golden Heart Charity Fund alone is 100 million VND.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung affirmed that the Party, State and Trade Union organization always care about and care for the lives of the people in general, union members and workers in particular, especially those in difficult circumstances every Tet and spring.

The gifts presented, although not large, show the concern of the Party and State in general, and the Trade Union organization in particular, for people and union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor shared, wishing people as well as union members and workers to strive to rise up in life. New Year wishes everyone good health, peace, and joyful and healthy Tet of the nation.

At the ceremony, leaders of Loc Ha Commune People's Committee thanked the attention of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation and the Golden Heart Charity Fund for deducting funds to support people and workers in Loc Ha commune.

Mr. To Huy Hanh - a worker at Ha My Hung Group Joint Stock Company - shared: "I am very happy to receive gifts from the leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The gift is a source of encouragement both materially and spiritually for the family to celebrate Tet more joyfully and fully.

Excited after receiving the gift, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung (resident of Loc Ha commune) shared: I am very touched to receive the attention of the Trade Union organization and local authorities, the gift shows affection and care for those in difficult circumstances.

Ms. Phan Thi Chau - a union member of Anh Duc Co., Ltd. - is in difficult circumstances, her husband is in poor health, so the income from her worker's salary to raise 5 young children is always short before and after. Receiving the Tet gift, she is excited, seeing it as a source of material and spiritual encouragement for her family to celebrate the traditional Tet happily and warmly.
