Supporting workers in Ninh Binh affected by storm No. 10
Ninh Binh - On the afternoon of October 21, the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor presented 40 million VND to support workers affected by the recent storm No. 10.
Accordingly, the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor has donated 40 million VND to support 20 employees at Chung Jye Ninh Binh Vietnam Shoe Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (in Khanh Nhac Industrial Cluster, Yen Khanh Commune, Ninh Binh Province).
These are workers who suffered heavy property damage due to the recent storm No. 10.
Ms. Le Thi Hoa - Vice President of Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor shared that we hope that through these gifts, we can add more motivation, spirit and help the families of workers soon stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind.
"This is a practical activity demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love", promoting the tradition of solidarity and attachment of the Trade Union organization to union members and workers" - Ms. Hoa shared.
The impact of storm No. 10 caused serious damage, killing 9 people and injuring 50 people; over 3,150 hectares of rice fields, 200 hectares of aquaculture ponds were flooded; about 102 hectares of people's salt fields were flooded and thousands of poultry died... The total estimated damage is about nearly 1,200 billion VND.
