Vietnam Construction Trade Union has supported 9,820 union members with an amount of 6.74 billion VND

On January 6, Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong - Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union (VTC) said that over the past 3 years, trade unions at all levels have paid attention to and promoted propaganda to 405,387 union members about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; and promoted the anniversaries and major events of the Party, the country, and the trade union organization.

Trade unions at all levels continue to coordinate with professional colleagues to propagate and mobilize union members and workers to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style while promoting the fight against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation, contributing to improving the political stance of union members and workers.

Responding to the annual Workers' Month, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union regularly directs units to focus on implementing well activities during the Workers' Month such as participating in the program "Creative Labor Festival 2025" organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; organizing the program "May Dialogue", the activity "Thanks to Workers", the "Union Meal" Program (145 agencies, units, and enterprises organizing the "Union Meal" program to attract the participation of 41,503 union members and workers with a total expenditure for this activity of over 3 billion VND); giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances (the Vietnam Construction Trade Union organized working groups to visit and give gifts to 20 collectives, 3,398 union members, workers in difficult construction industries with an average of 3.958 billion VND); promptly supporting trade unions with a total of over 6,74 billion VND);

Implementing Decision No. 1268/QD-TTg dated October 19, 2022 of the Prime Minister approving the Program "Promoting lifelong learning activities among workers in enterprises by 2030, the affiliated trade unions have organized classes to improve qualifications, knowledge and professional skills for 262,782 workers. Therefore, the quality of the workforce in the industry is constantly improved, contributing to building a modern and strong workforce in the construction industry, meeting the development requirements of the industry in the new situation.

The improvement of cultural and spiritual life has always been of interest to the Vietnam Construction Trade Union and all levels of trade unions. Over the past 3 years, 169,644 workers have participated in cultural and sports activities at the Cultural and Sports Clusters organized by the Vietnam Construction Trade Union and all levels of affiliated trade unions in coordination with the professional sector.

Communication work on the Trade Union organization constantly innovates methods and content, promotes digital transformation, and applies technology to diversify communication products to reach a larger number of union members and workers.
