Trade unions in Dak Lak help workers stabilize their housing and feel secure in production
Dak Lak - Many workers in Hoa Phu Industrial Park have been supported by the union to build houses, helping to stabilize their lives, work with peace of mind and produce.
On the morning of November 24, the Trade Union of Asean Steel Joint Stock Company (in Hoa Phu Industrial Park, Dak Lak province) said that since the beginning of the year, the unit has been supported by the Trade Union of Hoa Phu commune and the Provincial Labor Federation to build 6 "Union Shelters" for workers in difficult circumstances, with a total cost of 300 million VND.
Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union - assessed that the program has become a great source of encouragement for union members' families with housing difficulties. Thereby, contributing to creating trust and increasing the attachment of union members to the Trade Union organization, especially workers in Hoa Phu Industrial Park.
Currently, the company's grassroots union has 339 union members (320 men, 19 women). In recent years, the lives of union members and workers have been relatively stable.
The enterprise fully implements policies and regimes for employees, with an average income of about 6.7 million VND/person/month.
In the coming time, grassroots trade unions will continue to innovate their activities, perform well their functions and tasks of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers. At the same time, the unit will effectively maintain campaigns and emulation movements, contributing to improving the effectiveness of trade union activities.
