Lao Cai Trade Union takes care of Tet for union members, policy families, and poor households
Lao Cai - With the spirit of "not letting union members and people in difficult circumstances not have Tet", the provincial trade union has organized many practical activities.
On February 10, a working delegation of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, visited, presented gifts and encouraged policy families and households in difficult circumstances in Dong Cuong commune.
The delegation directly visited and encouraged the policy families of Ms. Vu Thi Son and Mr. Nguyen Van Thuc.
These are cases with particularly difficult circumstances, requiring regular attention and support from the community and levels and sectors.
On this occasion, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation presented 50 Tet gifts to households in difficult circumstances in villages in Dong Cuong commune, promptly encouraging and supporting people before the New Year.
In parallel with visiting and giving gifts at the grassroots level, during the Lunar New Year 2026, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation has focused all resources to care for union members and workers throughout the province.
Accordingly, the total number of union members and workers cared for during Tet was more than 10,000, with a total budget of nearly 7.7 billion VND.
In particular, trade union levels throughout the province have proactively coordinated closely with businesses and labor-using units to organize many rich and practical Tet care activities for union members and workers.
As a result, more than 41,000 union members and workers have received Tet care, reaching 100% of union members and workers in the province being cared for and supported in many appropriate forms such as giving gifts, cash support, organizing "Tet Sum vay" and "Trade Union Tet Market" programs, creating conditions for workers to feel secure in their work and be attached to the business for a long time.
The Tet care activities of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation not only show the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, but also contribute to spreading the spirit of solidarity and compassion in the community.
Thereby, affirming the position of the trade union as a reliable support for union members and workers, contributing to ensuring social security and for everyone and every family to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2026 joyfully, safely, warmly and affectionately.
