Hue Trade Union brings benefits to more than 40,700 members and employees in the past 3 years
HUE - From 2023 to 2025, more than 40,700 union members and workers will benefit from the welfare programs of the Trade Union organization.
On December 30, the Hue City Labor Federation (Hue City Labor Federation) said that in the period of 2023-2025, models of caring for union members and workers will continue to be maintained, expanded and spread to many grassroots unions.
Through the Union Member Welfare Program with preferential services, more than 40,700 union members and workers have benefited, with a total cost of over 3.7 billion VND. The City Labor Federation also implemented 63 "Union Members' Assets" programs, supporting 265 million VND for especially difficult cases; the "Support to School with You" program presented more than 4,600 notebooks and learning tools to children of union members and workers.
The "Union Shelter" program continues to be effectively implemented, supporting the construction of 57 new houses and repairing 41 houses with a total cost of more than 3.36 billion VND, contributing to improving the lives of union members.
At the same time, trade unions at all levels have stepped up the organization of "Union Meals", in the two years 2024-2025, 78 grassroots trade unions participated, attracting 34,300 union members, with a total cost of more than 817 million VND. funding for job support and capital support continues to be disbursed, helping union members, workers, civil servants and laborers stabilize their lives.
Activities to care for spiritual life are also focused on, with many rich cultural and sports programs. The Hue City Labor Culture House regularly maintains football, badminton, table tennis, yoga, basketball clubs... attracting a large number of union members to participate in health training.
