100 members of the technology motorbike taxi union receive free medical examinations
HCMC - Binh Tan Technology Motorbike taxi Union coordinated to provide free medical examinations for 100 union members.
100 members of the Binh Tan Technology Motorbike taxi Union (Binh Tri Dong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) were examined for free by the union in coordination with Quoc Anh General Hospital on January 16.
The union members were examined by 5 specialties, blood sugar determination, total urine analysis, total peripheral blood cell analysis, blood testing to assess liver function and detect liver damage due to disease (hepatitis, cirrhosis) and blood testing to detect damage in the liver and other organs (heart, musculoskeletal). The total value of medical examinations for 100 union members is 63.9 million VND.
Mr. Le Tan Luu - Chairman of Binh Tan Technology Motorbike taxi Union - said that because the union members are self-employed, many people are still in difficulty and do not have health insurance cards.
Therefore, getting union members free medical examinations will help them reduce some costs, and at the same time be able to detect the disease early (if any) for timely treatment.
