Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation visits and supports disadvantaged people in the Dau Tieng motorbike taxi union
HCMC - Leaders of the HCMC Labor Federation visited Dau Tieng commune to visit, encourage and provide support to motorbike taxi union members in difficult circumstances.
On the afternoon of September 12, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation met to encourage, visit and give support gifts to union members of the Dau Tieng motorbike taxi union in difficult circumstances.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, member of the Area Management Working Group No. 9 under the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dau Tieng Commune, representative of the Commune People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dau Tieng Commune.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation informed about the activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Union in recent times. At the same time, instruct the Dau Tieng motorbike taxi union to organize activities.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat said that the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union always cares about taking care of union members. On the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation presented 10 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to support union members in the motorbike taxi union of Dau Tieng commune. At the same time, the Area Management Working Group No. 9 also mobilized and presented 10 gifts of necessities (each worth 150,000 VND) to support union members.
Receiving the gifts, members of the motorbike taxi union expressed their emotions at the attention of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation. According to union members, recently their income has been uneven, and some union members have encountered difficult circumstances due to illness and disease. The support gifts help union members have more money to cover their living expenses.
Also at the program, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation listened to the sharing about the work and difficulties in the lives of union members. The leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation acknowledged the practical sharing of the union members. Thereby, there are recommendations to continue to have support policies for union members. Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat recommended that the locality create a communication channel with the union to maintain union members' contact with the locality. Union members unite, contribute to protecting local security and order
Dau Tieng Motorbike taxi Union was established in November 2024 with 25 members. Since its establishment, members of the union have actively participated in social activities. The union members expressed a spirit of solidarity, sharing work, and supporting each other in life.
Notably, many members have provided valuable information about security and order to the police and local authorities. There are union members who have bravely participated in arresting thieves, robbers... contributing to protecting order in the locality.
