Prime Minister praises the achievement of dismantling drug rings that seized 535.5 kg
The Prime Minister commended the forces that dismantled a large-scale illegal drug trafficking and transportation ring, seizing 535.5 kg of various drugs.
On September 10, the Government Office said that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had just sent a letter of commendation to the functional forces for organizing the fight against and destroying drug trafficking and illegal transportation rings from abroad into Vietnam in large quantities.
Letter of commendation to the Border Guard Command; Border Guard Command of Quang Tri, Ha Tinh, Da Nang City; Special Task Force for Drug and Crime Prevention in the Central region under the Department of Drug and Crime Prevention, Border Guard Command.
In the letter of commendation, the Prime Minister was pleased to learn that in August, the Border Guard Command directed the Border Guard Command of Quang Tri, Ha Tinh, Da Nang City and the Central Steering Committee for Drug and Crime Prevention under the Department of Drug and Crime Prevention, Border Guard Command to successfully fight against Project QB525 and HT825 to destroy large-scale drug trafficking and illegal transportation rings from abroad into Vietnam.
The authorities arrested 3 subjects, seized 535.5 kg of various drugs and many related exhibits and documents, ensuring absolute safety.
On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister warmly commended and highly appreciated the outstanding achievements of the comrades.
The achievements of the comrades demonstrated the spirit of courage, high determination, intelligence, and skill in the fight against drug crimes, contributing to protecting a peaceful and happy life for the people, embellishing the glorious tradition of the Border Guard, the heroic Vietnam People's Army, practically celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of National Defense to promptly take forms of commendation and propose worthy commendations for collectives and individuals directly involved in solving cases, organizing extensive propaganda, learning, and following the spirit of fighting and fighting against crimes of the recent Border Guard units.
At the same time, continue to direct the Border Guard to preside over and closely coordinate with functional forces to step up the fight against all types of crimes, especially transnational drug crimes, to prevent drugs from entering Vietnam, contributing to protecting the safety and happiness of the people.
