The former Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province becomes the new Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee

At noon on July 1, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to hand over personnel decisions to key personnel of advisory and support agencies under the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

At the ceremony, Mr. Dinh Thanh Nhan - Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organization Committee - announced the Politburo's approval decision for Mr. Dang Minh Thong, Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Mr. Dang Minh Thong, 48 years old, has a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Master's degree in civil engineering, and a high level of political theory. He has held the following positions: Secretary of the Ba Ria City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee.

Thus, the Standing Committee of the new Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee currently has 6 members, including:

Mr. Nguyen Van Nen - Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee (former Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Duong province).

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Dang Minh Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

For the advisory agencies, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has assigned and appointed:

Ms. Van Thi Bach Tuyet is Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong holds the position of Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee.

Ms. Nguyen Thi My Hang was appointed Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.
