Mr. Luu Van Trung re-elected Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Dong province
Lam Dong - At the first session, the 11th Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031, elected Mr. Luu Van Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
On March 30, the 11th Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031, held its first meeting. At the meeting, the Provincial Election Committee reported on the results of the election of provincial People's Council deputies and the results of confirming deputy status.
The session also proceeded to elect key positions of the People's Council and Provincial People's Committee; elect People's Assessors of the Provincial People's Court and the Regional People's Court.
At the same time, the Provincial People's Council listened to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province reporting on the synthesis of opinions and recommendations of voters in the recent election; considering and approving resolutions on organizing regular meetings in 2026.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council elected Mr. Luu Van Trung to continue to hold the position of Chairman of the 11th Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031.
Mr. Luu Van Trung (born in 1974), from Vu Tien commune, Hung Yen province; has a professional qualification of land management engineer, master of agriculture; high-level political theory. Previously, he was Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Dong province, term X, 2021-2026.
The session also elected 6 people to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Dong province, term XI, term 2026-2031, including: K'Mák, Tieu Hong Phuc, Y Quang Bkrong, Nguyen Thi Thuan Bich, Mai Thi Xuan Trung and Da Cat Vinh.
