The largest flag of Vietnam appears at the flag-raising ceremony to celebrate National Day in Dat Mui, Ca Mau
On the morning of September 2nd, the largest fabric national flag in Vietnam with an area of 2,025m2 appeared in the flag salute and flag raising ceremony to celebrate National Day at the Hanoi - Ca Mau Cape Flagpole.
At the Hanoi Flagpole - Ca Mau Cape, Ca Mau province organized the flag salute ceremony, flag raising ceremony and receiving the Certificate, Badge, Decision to establish the record "Largest fabric national flag in Vietnam" awarded by the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings).
In a solemn atmosphere, delegates and a large number of people performed the flag salute ceremony. The national flag fluttered in Dat Mui - the southernmost point of the Fatherland, creating a special moment on National Day September 2nd.
The flag is made of super durable fabric, with an area of 2,025m2, weighing about 320kg, designed and implemented by SG Chien Thang Import-Export Trading and Service Investment Joint Stock Company.
According to VietKings, the record-setting is to show gratitude to heroic martyrs and compatriots who sacrificed for the Fatherland. The flag is implemented within the framework of the Trans-Vietnam Journey for the period 2025-2027, which has appeared at many major events.
Before returning to Dat Mui, the flag was introduced at the Lang Sen Festival, Nghe An province - the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh, to celebrate the 135th anniversary of his birth; then flown in Hanoi Capital on the occasion of the 80th National Day.
After the flag raising ceremony in Ca Mau, the flag will continue to appear at historical and sacred places of the country. By the end of 2027, after the journey ends, the flag is expected to be presented to Ca Mau province and displayed at Mui Ca Mau National Park to serve people and tourists.
