Inauguration of the Great Solidarity Tree Garden, sowing green seeds for the community

On September 9, at Dang Thuy Tram Park (Binh Loi Trung ward), the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with the Representative Board of the Cao Dai Holy See of Tay Ninh Holy See in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Loi Trung ward to organize the launching ceremony of the tree planting movement, inauguration of the "Great Solidarity Tree Garden" and social security day.

At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Minh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City said that the program of planting 1 million trees in the 2025 - 2030 term, associated with the "City of Colorful Flowers" movement, is not simply an indicator of the number of trees, but to sow one million more green sprouts of awareness, responsibility and love for the city in each citizen.

This is a specific way to bring the action program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress of Ho Chi Minh City into life; mobilize the strength of the entire political system, organizations, circles, religions, business communities and especially promote the role of the people as the subjects in building a green, clean, beautiful and friendly city.

According to Mr. Pham Minh Tuan, "Great Unity Garden" today has value beyond a green tree project. Each green tree here is a part of the contribution of many forces; each green area formed is the result of coordination between Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, religious organizations and people. That is the strength of great unity transformed into specific actions.

Also at the program, the organizers presented 73 gifts to near-poor households in Binh Loi Trung ward; awarded Nguyen Huu Tho scholarships for the 2026 - 2027 school year, phase 2, to students in the ward; inaugurated the project to renovate and upgrade the children's playground...
