The 7th Appraisal Council of the "Scientists of Farmers" program in 2026 has just met to appraise individuals nominated for honor.

Ms. Bui Thi Thom - Vice Chairwoman of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, Chairwoman of the Appraisal Council of the "Scientists of Farmers" Honor Program chaired the meeting; members of the Representative Council of the Central Vietnam Farmers' Union, the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, and the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations.

According to Ms. Bui Thi Thom, the 2026 "Scientists of Farmers" honoring ceremony is expected to be held in conjunction with the award ceremony of the Farmer Technical Innovation Contest on October 2.
