Major picks up wallet, finds lost person to return it

On September 9, Dien Bien Provincial Police informed that on September 6, when passing through area C9, Muong Thanh ward, Major Pham Duc Hoan discovered a lost wallet.

Checking inside, Mr. Hoan found 10 million VND in cash and many important personal papers.

With a sense of responsibility, Major Hoan brought all the property to Dien Bien Phu Ward Police to report, requesting support to find the person who dropped it to return it.

Immediately after receiving the information, Dien Bien Phu Ward Police quickly reviewed the information on the related documents and data.

Through verification, functional forces identified the owner of the wallet as Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, residing in Vo Nguyen Giap residential group, Dien Bien Phu ward.

The ward police contacted and invited Ms. Hoa to the headquarters and returned the full amount of money, papers and lost property.

Receiving her property back, Ms. Hoa expressed her joy, emotion and thanked Major Pham Duc Hoan and officers and soldiers of Dien Bien Phu Ward Police.

Major Pham Duc Hoan's action of "picking up lost items and returning them to the person who lost them" is a beautiful gesture, showing the spirit of honesty and responsibility of the soldier "Uncle Ho's Soldiers".
