Hai Phong Police support people to return 300 million VND mistakenly transferred
Hai Phong - On the afternoon of September 8, Hai Phong City Police informed that Tien Lang Commune Police coordinated to return 300 million VND due to mistaken account transfer.
At about 3:40 pm on September 7, Mr. Nguyen Van H (born in 1983, residing in Trung Lang Dong village, Tien Lang commune, Hai Phong) came to the headquarters of Tien Lang Commune Police to report that his LP Bank account suddenly received 300 million VND at about 3 pm on the same day from a strange account.
Immediately after receiving the information, Tien Lang Commune Police quickly coordinated with Mr. H to verify the source of information. Through this, functional forces identified the person who made the mistaken transfer transaction as Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc T (born in 1998, residing in Song Doc commune, Ca Mau province).
Tien Lang Commune Police urgently contacted and coordinated with Song Doc Commune Police (Ca Mau) to quickly verify the citizen's identity, and at the same time supported procedures to soon return the money.
At 4:18 PM on the same day, after accurately identifying the owner information, at the headquarters of Tien Lang Commune Police, Mr. Nguyen Van H personally transferred the entire 300 million VND back to Ms. T's account. The commune police also praised the act of proactively reporting and returning the money mistakenly transferred to Mr. Nguyen Van H's account.
