More than 32,500 workers in Quang Tri are supported by the union
Quang Tri - The Provincial Trade Union has had many practical activities to care for workers, thereby arousing an effective labor emulation movement.
On January 13, the Quang Tri Labor Federation (LDLD) said that in 2025, trade unions at all levels will support more than 17 billion VND to take care of union members and workers.
With the motto of taking union members and workers as the center, in recent times, trade unions at all levels in the province have constantly innovated and affirmed their role as a reliable " supported" in protecting the legitimate rights and comprehensively caring for the material and spiritual life of workers. This close attention helps union members and employees feel secure in contributing, promoting production and developing the socio-economy.
In 2025, trade unions at all levels supported 32,583 people with a total support amount of 17.3 billion VND, of which the Provincial Federation of Labor supported 10.2 billion VND. There are 420 grassroots trade unions organizing the "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" program, attracting more than 20,000 union members to participate. The Provincial Federation of Labor implemented the "Online Trade Union Tet Market" Program, supporting more than 4,000 union members and workers who have successfully purchased goods with a total beneficiary of 2.4 billion VND.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has also supported the construction and repair of 131 "Union Shelters" worth 4.76 billion VND. Support workers, civil servants, employees and people affected by storms No. 11 and 12 with more than 650 million VND. Supported loans and created jobs for 83 union members with a total capital of 2.2 billion VND.
In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor always focuses on legal consultation work, organizing consultations for more than 18,850 union members, helping workers understand their rights and obligations, limiting labor disputes; coordinating the inspection of labor law, social insurance, occupational safety and hygiene at 38 enterprises and participating in the investigation of 7 cases of fatal work accidents, demonstrating a strong monitoring role.
The practical activities of the trade union organization have mobilized the cooperation of Party committees, authorities, employers and society in caring for the lives of union members and workers; thereby ensuring rights, strengthening trust, promoting the development of union members and arousing an effective labor emulation movement.
