Limiting boat traffic on the Saigon River in the coming days
Ho Chi Minh City - The Saigon River section through District 1, Binh Thanh and Thu Duc City will limit vehicle traffic by the hour on April 22, 25, 26, 27, 29 and 30.
The Southern Maritime and Waterway Administration said that in order to ensure security and order at the 50th anniversary of the Southern Phong Festival and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), inland waterway traffic on the Saigon River will be limited.
Traffic-restricted areas are as follows:
Saigon River: Section from Ben Nghe Canal Intersection to Saigon Bridge, right bank belongs to Ben Nghe Ward, District 1 and Ward 22, Binh Thanh District; left bank belongs to An Khanh Ward and Thu Thiem Ward, Thu Duc City.
The starting point has a latitude of 10°46'10.3"N, extended period is 106°42'30,4"E; the end point has an latitude of 10°47'55.3"N, extended period is 106°43'37.9"E (coefficient WGS84).
The time limitation and ban on circulation is as follows:
April 22 and April 25: No water from 7pm to 9pm.
September 26: No lanes from 7pm to 10pm.
September 27: No lanes from 6am to 9am.
September 29: No water from 7pm to 10pm.
September 30: No water from 6am to 9am and from 6pm to 10pm.
