Hai Duong starts construction of large-scale AEON commercial center
Hai Duong - AEON Hai Duong Shopping Center officially started construction. The project has a scale of 3.5 hectares, promising to create 1,000 jobs and boost the local economy.
On April 19, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province coordinated with AEON Vietnam Group to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the AEON Hai Duong Commercial Center Project, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Mr. Bui Thanh Son - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Ito Naoki highly appreciated the investment environment in Vietnam, including Hai Duong province. According to the Ambassador, Hai Duong has many advantages such as convenient transportation location, developed industrial park system, high population and abundant labor force, many of which are working in Japanese enterprises.
Mr. Tezuka Daisuke - General Director of AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that when completed, the project will create about 1,000 job opportunities, promote the consumption of high-quality products of Hai Duong province, and actively contribute to the economic development of the locality and the region.
The General Director of AEON Vietnam affirmed that the enterprise will make every effort to contribute to the overall development of the key economic region of the Red River Delta, and expressed his desire to continue to receive the attention, direction and support of the government and people of Hai Duong province.
Along with the AEON Hai Duong Commercial Center Project, this morning (April 19), the People's Committee of Hai Duong province also held a groundbreaking ceremony for the investment project to build provincial road 394B, Hai Duong province (the section connecting from provincial road 395 to the North - South axis, Thanh Mien district) and the technical opening ceremony for the investment project to build the East - West axis road, Hai Duong province, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.
The AEON Hai Duong Commercial Center project has a scale of 3.5 hectares, located near the intersection between Vo Nguyen Giap Street and Vo Van Kiet Street in Lien Hong Commune and Thach Khoi Ward, Hai Duong City. The project has a total investment of VND 1,170 billion, with an operating period of 50 years.
AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd. is the project investor. Retail business center, distributing products with a scale of about 5,000 items of all kinds; about 150 booths for rent for business purposes.
