10th grade entrance exam in Literature in Hanoi in 2025
Below is the entrance exam for grade 10 Literature in 2025 developed by Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi for students and parents to refer to.
Previously, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training (DET) announced the structure and sample exam questions for grade 10 of 7 subjects, so that students can review before the first exam under the new program.
In which, the Literature and Math exam is in the form of an essay, the test time is 120 minutes. The remaining subjects are in multiple-choice format, in 60 minutes.
In 2025, candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam for public high school in Hanoi will take 3 subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language. A notable new point is that the Math and Literature scores are no longer multiplied by the coefficient of 2 when calculating admission scores like in previous years.
The formula for calculating the admission score for grade 10 in Hanoi this year is as follows:
dXT = Math score + Literature score + Foreign language score + priority score (if any) + incentive score (if any).
This year's exam takes place on June 7-8. On June 9, candidates registered to take the entrance exam to 4 specialized high schools to take exams in specialized subjects. The Hanoi Department of Education and Training plans to announce the exam results from July 4-6. From July 10-12, admission students must confirm their admission.
