Illustrative exam for pedagogical competency assessment
Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 has just announced the illustrative draft of the independent exam for regular university admission in 2025.
The 8 subjects include Math, Literature, Biology, English, History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry. Specific sample questions are as follows ( click on the subject name to see):

Pedagogical University 2 is scheduled to organize an independent exam on June 1, at the school and some high schools in Vinh Phuc province. Candidates register from 1.4-4.5.
The contestants are 12th graders or those who have graduated from high school, those with a foreign graduation certificate recognized as equivalent. The exam fee is 200,000 VND/subject/exam.
The Literature subject will be tested in multiple-choice format combined with an essay. The remaining subjects are tested in multiple-choice format. Regarding the test time, Literature and Math are tested in 90 minutes, the remaining subjects are 60 minutes.
The exam content closely follows the 2018 general education program, mainly in grade 12. The exam is built according to the orientation of competency assessment, questions related to meaningful context to measure the manifestations of the assessed capacity.
In 2025, Hanoi National University 2 plans to conduct admission by the following methods: Considering the results of the high school graduation exam; considering the results of the academic records; direct admission and priority for direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University; considering the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University of Education and the specialized assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University of Education.
Specialized pedagogical training majors such as Preschool Education, Physical Education, and Sports Management use the above methods, but in admission combinations, the results of the skills test organized by the school are used.
Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 does not use the results of the talent test organized by other universities.
