The largest 1,000-bed hospital construction site in Tuyen Quang
Tuyen Quang - Tuyen Quang General Hospital project is located on a 16ha campus, with a total investment of nearly 1,800 billion VND.
The Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital project started construction in October 2023 in Luong Vuong commune (Tuyen Quang city). The project has a scale of 1,000 beds, including all items according to the standards of a provincial-level Grade I general hospital.
The hospital has a total investment of 1,796 billion VND from the central budget and local budget. This is also the hospital with the largest and most modern scale in Tuyen Quang province to date.
According to the reporter's records after 20 months of construction, the functional blocks have gradually emerged. At the large construction site, workers and machinery are mobilized to implement the project.
Some functional buildings have been topped out, continuing the completion stages. Meanwhile, auxiliary items such as gates, walls, yards, grounds, and leveling were also constructed synchronously. A large construction site with hundreds of workers and machinery is accelerating towards the project finish line.
According to the investor's report, up to now, the total value of completed volume is estimated to reach about 40% of the contract value. The project has been disbursed over VND 762 billion, reaching 63.5% of the assigned capital plan for the period 2021-2025. From the beginning of 2025 to now, over 15 billion VND has been disbursed.
At the recent site inspection, the leaders of Tuyen Quang province requested contractors to focus on human resources, equipment and conditions to ensure the construction process. The investor will strengthen coordination with relevant units to overcome difficulties and obstacles, striving to complete phase 1 of the project in the fourth quarter of 2025.
After completion, Tuyen Quang General Hospital will be a provincial-level final-level hospital, with full items such as examination and treatment facilities, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, emergency care, nuclear physics department, etc.
This facility will replace the old general hospital, meeting the medical examination and treatment needs of local people and neighboring areas.
