National Assembly Chairman: Making legal institutions a competitive advantage, a breakthrough of a breakthrough

This morning (September 25), at the National Assembly House, the 1st National Assembly Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, held an official session. General Secretary To Lam attended and gave a speech at the Congress.

Politburo member, Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man chaired the Congress.

The Congress was attended by Politburo members: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien, along with Politburo members, former Politburo members, members of the Secretariat, former members of the Secretariat, members of the Party Central Committee, former members of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly, former Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly.

The Congress has 297 outstanding delegates representing more than 2,800 Party members of the National Assembly Party Committee.

In his opening speech, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that since its establishment, it has inherited and promoted the results and experiences of the previous National Assembly Party Delegation, along with the close guidance, leadership and direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat, directly and regularly with General Secretary To Lam; the guidance and coordination of the Party Committees and the Central Party Office; the coordination of the Party Committees under the Central Committee and the National Assembly Party Committee has promoted the spirit of solidarity, overcome all difficulties, innovate in leadership, direction, and good performance of the functions of making hiencies, making laws, performing supreme supervision and deciding on important issues of the country.

In particular, the National Assembly Party Committee has led and directed the completion of a large number of tasks to institutionalize the Party's strategic policies and decisions of historical significance, creating an important legal basis to serve the requirements of economic, cultural and social development, building a political system, preventing corruption, waste, negativity, and strengthening national defense, security, and foreign affairs.

On September 11, the Politburo worked with the National Assembly Party Committee Standing Committee on preparing for the first National Assembly Party Congress and concluded: The Congress preparation process and the content of documents must be serious, elaborate, scientific, and in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the Central Committee.

The National Assembly Chairman said that in reality, the country is facing urgent issues that need to be resolved, the people are waiting and expecting the decisions of the Party and the State, requiring the National Assembly to continue to innovate thinking and working methods.

Yesterday (September 24), the Congress conducted the contents according to the program; in which, it conducted in-depth consultations and discussions on the implementation of political tasks; leadership, direction, lessons learned from previous terms; directions, goals, tasks, solutions and development breakthroughs of the Party Committee in the 2025 - 2030 term - the National Assembly Chairman shared.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man affirmed the important significance of this Congress as: together with the entire Party, shaping strategic and contemporary activities, leading the development of the country, making legal institutions a competitive advantage, a breakthrough of breakthroughs, bringing the country into a new era, an era of national growth.
