Deputy Minister of National Defense Nguyen Truong Thang; Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Quoc Hung; Permanent Deputy Minister of Health Vu Manh Ha; Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Nguyen Quoc Dung; Ambassador, Head of the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations Do Hung Viet; Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Manh Khuong; Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Le Cong Thanh; Assistant to President Duong Quoc Hung.

The President's attendance at the High-level General Debate on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations is of great significance, affirming Vietnam's strong commitment to multilateralism and the core values of the United Nations.

The participation of the President and the Vietnamese delegation not only demonstrates the deep concern of the Party and State for multilateral cooperation and major United Nations agendas, but also affirms Vietnam's foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization, diversification, proactiveness and active, comprehensive, extensive and effective international integration.

On the other hand, the working trip of the President also took place on the occasion of Vietnam and the US celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 2nd anniversary of the implementation of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
