Approving the policy of investing more than 2,500 billion VND in an industrial park in Van Don, Quang Ninh

Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1316/QD-UBND approving the investment policy and at the same time approving the investor of the Project to invest in construction and business of industrial park infrastructure in the Northeast area of the airport belonging to the Northern Van Don airport industrial park.

This is a key industrial infrastructure project, which has the meaning of promoting socio-economic development in the coastal area, especially the Van Don economic zone.

The project investor is Quang Ngan Industrial Development and Investment Joint Stock Company, implementing investment in construction and business of industrial park infrastructure according to the type of supporting industrial park.

The project has a operating term of 50 years, with a total investment of 2,578 billion VND.

The total land use area is 347.79ha, implemented in 2 phases: phase 1 is 202.68ha, completed in 36 months from the date of land allocation; phase 2 is 145.11ha, completed in 18 months after land allocation.

Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee requests the IP to prioritize attracting modern technology projects that are environmentally friendly and have high added value; use land, water and energy resources economically; and not accept projects that consume energy or pose a potential risk of environmental pollution.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Management Board of Quang Ninh Economic Zone and Van Don Special Zone to closely monitor the progress, site clearance and environmental protection.

The investor is responsible for depositing to ensure project implementation, complying with regulations on land and construction; focusing resources on implementation, ensuring progress, quality and investment efficiency according to the approved content.
