Ministry of Public Security receives 3 vocational education institutions from the Ministry of Education and Training
The Ministry of Public Security has received 3 vocational education institutions from the Ministry of Education and Training for management, including schools in Hanoi, Quang Ngai and Ho Chi Minh City.
On August 26, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Training to organize the handover and reception ceremony of 3 vocational education institutions from the Ministry of Education and Training to the Ministry of Public Security.
According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, implementing Conclusion No. 42-KL/TW dated June 4, 2026 of the Secretariat on the Project "Vocational training and job introduction for specific groups of subjects who are citizens who have completed their obligations to participate in the People's Police (CAND), people who have completed their prison sentences and reintegrated into the community, and people who are undergoing drug rehabilitation at drug rehabilitation facilities", the Ministry of Education and Training has chaired the development of a Project to transfer 3 vocational education institutions from the Ministry of Education and Training to the Ministry of Public Security for management.
On August 14, 2026, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1569/QD-TTg on transferring the original state of Technical and Technological Vocational College (Hanoi City); Dung Quat Vocational College (Quang Ngai province); Vocational College II (Ho Chi Minh City) to the Ministry of Public Security for management.
The transfer of 3 vocational education institutions is not only a change in administrative management agencies or the transfer of facilities and organizational structure. This is a management and vocational training model with high specificity, political and social significance, showing profound humanity.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Van Tuyen requested units directly under the Ministry and 3 vocational education institutions to urgently complete procedures on organizational structure, personnel, facilities, finance, assets and conditions to ensure operations in accordance with the law.
Effectively implement ideological work, fully ensure regimes, policies, and legitimate rights and interests of officials, teachers, employees and students.
Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen clearly stated the spirit: Receive but not interrupt professional activities; manage according to a new model but must inherit and maximize the results and good experiences that have been obtained; maintain stable quality and training progress.
