Golden Heart Fund supports teachers to stick to school and class

Practical boarding houses in mountainous areas

At the beginning of the 2026 - 2027 school year, Huong Lien dormitory (former Huong Lien commune, now Phuc Trach commune) is bustling again when teachers return to school.

Ms. Dang Thi Lien (39 years old, English teacher at Phuc Trach Primary School, branch 2) confided that for the past 2 years, the dormitory has been where she rests between teaching sessions. The house is about 25km from the school, the mountain pass roads are winding, it is difficult to travel, especially during the rainy and storm season. She could have stayed in the dormitory regularly. However, the children are still young, so in the evening she still has to return home to tutor her children in their homework and take care of the family.

I am really grateful to the Golden Heart Charity Fund and the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation for sponsoring and building this very practical and meaningful dormitory" - Ms. Lien shared.

For teacher Nguyen Quang Hop (54 years old), a teacher at Phuc Trach Primary School branch 2, Huong Lien dormitory has also become a place attached for the past 2 years. The facilities here are quite complete, eating, living, and living conditions are guaranteed, helping teachers to be more convenient in life and feel secure in their work.

For Ms. Dinh Thi Hang Mo (30 years old, teacher at Phuc Trach Primary School), Huong Lien dormitory holds many unforgettable memories. From the end of 2022, she was assigned here when she came to work at Huong Lien Primary School (old). At the beginning of the 2026 - 2027 school year, although she moved to the main school point in Huong Trach commune (old), she still remembers the years of attachment to the dormitory.

I am grateful to the Golden Heart Charity Fund and the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation for building this meaningful project. Even when transferred, I still remember the years living here" - Ms. Mo said.

Hometown in Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province (old), now Quang Tri province, about 80km from school, Ms. Mo considers the dormitory as a support to help her feel secure in her work for the past 4 years.

The work of sharing
